Although he is still listed as the Falcons 3rd string quaternary, former Florida and Arkansas QB Felippe Franks continues to impress with his play at his new position of Tight End . Franks has shown he’s a decent route runner, good hands and of course has the size at 6’6” He also has seems to be unafraid of of lowering his shoulders to get tough yards when needed. We saw this in practice at Flowery Branch when he bowled over a DB trying to tackle him on the sidelines.
Don’t be surprised to see him some significant action during he regular season. Especially when Falcons with Jumbo 2 or even 3 Tight End formations.
